Trầm Hương Khánh Hòa (Agarwood from Khánh Hòa) is a noble specialty from the tropical forests in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. Agarwood is burnt as incense, carved into ritual objects or distilled into finest Agarwood oil, which is even more valuable than gold. Trầm Hương Khánh Hòa was probably made famous in the third century by Indian and Chinese traders who brought this specialty from Vietnam, through the legendary Silk Road, to the Arab world – Islam.
